Annie Maud's onboard equipment and design make her ideal for
residential use or extended cruising. Built at an ideal length for cruising
the Leeds & Liverpool Canal and on through Yorkshire from where she
originated from at Legard Bridge Boat Co. Accommodation is for four, if
utilising the make-up double berth on the L-shape dinette. The saloon
has space for free-standing furniture of your choice, with a solid fuel
stove providing additional heat to the diesel central heating. The midships
galley is equipped with gas cooking, along with a microwave, and
a washing machine is located in-between the bathroom and bedroom.
Talking of bathrooms, the spacious walkthrough bathroom, complete
with corner bath is fed by a 200 gallon stainless steel water tank, with
hot water heated by the engine, boiler or immersion. The rugged
Barrus Shire diesel engine with 45hp is fitted with an Electrolux 3.5kW
230V engine driven alternator providing 230V electrical power, whilst
the battery bank with inverter is ideal for smaller appliances when
running of the engine is not appropriate. There is also of course, plenty
of solar power to help keep the batteries topped up.
