A fully refurbished and recommissioned fresh water 2001 Sea Ray 225 Weekender with a 5.0 EFi V8 Mercruiser on a renewed 3000kg braked road trailer.
The Trailer
This has been subject to two new 1500kg axles with all new U bolts, with full braking gear, bearings, brake lines and mudguards along with brand new tyres.
The Hull
All the electrics have been fully checked, two of the stereo speakers have been replaced and upgraded with waterproof deck speakers. All seating removed and cleaned. The decals have been replaced in part on the outside of the hull and this has been subject to a full MOP and colour restore. All gauge bulbs have been replaced. A brand new water pump has been sourced and fitted and the deck shower reinstated along with a new horn. A new steering cable has been fitted also. She's been fully antifouled with SeaJet 033 and the canopy has been removed and professionally cleaned and resealed.
The Engine
The Alpha 1 gen II leg has had all the bellows (exhaust, gear and drive) renewed along with the gimbal bearing and the gear cable also. A new oil pressure sender has been fitted as have trim sensors. The rotor arm and distributor cap have been renewed along with all the plugs and an engine oil and filter service too and obviously the fuel filter too. I replaced the gear oil too and also fitted a new bilge pump too. All old fuel has been removed and fresh stabilised fuel was added and then the engine properly rewinterised. I also fitted two new heavy duty batteries.
As can be seen from the pictures she also comes equipped with VHF and the factory fitted Clarion stereo with on deck remote. There are speakers below deck as well as the ones replaced on deck. I also made the table as seen in the pictures out of beech. She will come with the original one too. There is a separate spot on deck where this can be located by the rear seats too. There's a sink and tap below deck and there is shore power connection with leads too. She's fitted with the optional extended swim platform with ladder as can be seen. She also has a stainless steel 3 blade prop. All work carried out is backed up by all the receipts and paperwork I have.
I've spent a lot of time restoring this boat and as she's complete with only 378 fresh water hours she is now ready for her new home. I've probably forgotten to mention some of the work I've done or have had professionally done. She is dry stored in South Cumbria where she will remain until sold. Please give me a shout with any serious enquiries. Viewings are strictly by appointment. Many thanks.
